Our Cricket Teams

• Competitive cricket for young players aged 11 to 18
• Age divisions are grouped by year level such as Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 or 18
• Matches are played with hard balls on turf or synthetic wickets
• Builds skills, confidence and teamwork in a proper competition setting
• Provides a strong pathway for players aiming to progress into senior cricket
Youth Cricket 'Juniors'
(Bears Cricket: Ages 12 - 18)

• Competitive cricket for young players aged 11 to 18

Senior Cricket
• Open age cricket for men and women in the Queensland Sub Districts Cricket Association
• A range of grades ensures everyone from social players to serious competitors has a spot
• Matches are longer format one day or two day games on turf wickets
• Home games are played at Charlie Buckler Memorial Oval
• Perfect for those continuing from juniors or anyone looking to return to cricket
(QSDCA Registered Teams)


• A modified format competition run across Redlands for players around 11 to 12 years old
• Players get a certain amount of balls to face on gameday, regardless if they get out
• Played on reduced size fields with shorter matches to keep games exciting
• Ideal step for juniors moving from Blasters into structured competition
• Sharks teams train weekly and play predominantly in local fixtures
Trebles Cricket
(Ages 11 - 12)

Master Blasters
(Ages 5 - 10)
• Perfect introduction to cricket for boys and girls aged 5 to 10
• Focuses on fun, skill building and teamwork rather than competition
• Short sessions with modified equipment such as plastic bats and soft balls
• Held at the club on weekday afternoons or weekends
• No previous experience needed, designed for first time cricketers
